Hadspen Cricket Club is thrilled to announce that men’s senior coach Tristan Weeks and his trusty assistant Tyler Dell have extended their tenures with the Chieftains for the 2025-26 season.
Following this season’s Premier League premiership, Tristan is more motivated than ever to continue leading the club.
“Winning the Premier League title was a massive achievement, but the job isn’t done," he said.
"I’m motivated to lead the club forward and set it up for long-term success across all grades.
"There’s a great group of players and people here, and I’m excited to keep building on what we’ve started.”
Club president Corey Martin also expressed his joy about Tristan committing to a third season.
“It’s fantastic to have Weeksy re-sign. Tristan's leadership and performances, which saw him win back-to-back Syd Holland Medals this year, speak for themselves," he said.
"The quality of cricketers we have at the club was on full display throughout the finals series, and Tyler Dell is second to none as a keeper-batsman in this league.
"Having them both continue their roles is a massive win for Hadspen.”
Under Tristan and Tyler’s leadership, our senior men’s teams have continued to develop and thrive, and we’re excited for what’s ahead.
